yea totally just gave up on the Eng Lit theory analysis essay
I'm usually really good at bs-ing my way through
but I am doing the Destructors (the same one we did in Grade 10 but extended version)
and trying to apply the feminist theory
but it's really not working very well
and I could apply some other theory
like the post colonialism one
but the previous group already did it
so I can't
and then the other theories just doesn't work at all for the story
or the ones that do work...I don't get =O=

so yea I'm ripping videos off youtube
and putting it onto iPod Louie III

right now i'm just posting something to keep myself from ever forgetting this name
It took me a while to find out about him since all i knew was his first name
and two facts
1) he's a musical genius
and
2) he was born premature so he was blind and has sever learning difficulties
This person is Derek Paravicini, and I'd like more people to know more about him
"Derek, now in his early twenties, was born premature, at 25 weeks, and weighing just over half a kilogram. As a result of the oxygen therapy required to save his life, Derek lost his sight, and his development was affected too. It later became apparent that he had severe learning difficulties. However, he soon acquired a fascination for music and sound, and, by the age of four, had taught himself to play a large number of pieces on the piano, of some melodic and harmonic complexity (such as 'Smoke Gets in your Eyes')."

I first saw him on 60 Minutes.
I was in absolute awe.
Fur Elise, one of my favourite piano pieces, and Derek played it as if Mozart had written it.
The result was absolutely....wow, I loved it, it was amazing, and the fact that he can inprovise almost immediately just leaves me totally...blank, I can't even describe how i felt.
If I'm not wrong his very first CD should have been released about 5 days ago
...if I'm not wrong.
I hope I can get my hands on that CD somehow.
If he leaves you just as fascinated then I do hope you tell others about him too.

still stressing over science
BUT
did i ever mention just how much i love my friends
I love you guys *cries*
i actually cried cuz i was happy
big thank you to Vic, Ryan T, Ryan B, Brittany, Alnoor, Josh, 'sousa association', harriet.
well Vic and Ryan were my suppliers but the original set belongs to Brittany and Sousa who passes them along to others and it's just a never ending chain
we were all surprised Harriet didn't make her own notes too
haha but thanks a bunch guys
i now have enough notes to get me at least a 60 on the exam
so yes once again thank you to not only the people above but everyone else for the support and tips and stuff
loves you all ^^
Will provide notes to whoever else needs them, just ask.
seriously, what would i ever do without friends.
